I sometimes find photography to be too true.  When viewing a photograph of a person, we question who they are and what they represent, then we look for clues in the photograph to answer our question.

Challenged to focus on the experience rather than the person, I began to experiment with techniques that would draw a more diverse group to identify and relate with the subject’s experience.  Photography-based digital mixed media afforded me the freedom to capture real-life experiences while providing a more universal identity.

My art typically relates to human experiences.  Favorite subjects:  Emotions, Stories, Travels
